Sandra Wash

This is one of my favorite 'feel good' movies. I stop what I'm doing and watch it every time I know it will be shown on TV. Loved it. It captured a lot of the 60's and what it was like to be young at that time. And the music is good too.

I LOVED this movie. I first saw it as a child growing up in the mountains of NC just south of Asheville. I loved that I recognized the places mentioned in the song. There was even a illegal still found near where I lived as a child. Robert Mitchem was such a talented actor and the fact that he wrote and sang the song and co-wrote the screenplay made it more interesting. My only problem was that it was supposed to happen in 1954 but some of the cars are from 1957 but that probably would not bother most people.
