American Idol brings contestants to the public. There is so much variety that it would be hard to know who will win. The voting public has a variety of tastes obviously. We all have a right to choose our musical preferences, does that mean people should demean the voters and contestants???? The reality is most of the winners on AM IDOL went nowhere, it was the runner ups that seem to do well. That's how it's going to be because the voters all have different preferences.
