It was totally lame, silly, and tried to fit too many "messages" into its misguided attempt at a heartwarming romcom. Everything from the lesbian sister, the mixed-race couple and the politics of brexit along with a cringe worthy "love at first sight" scene so ridiculous it was breathtaking. This movie was only useful as an excuse for an afternoon nap.

The immortal Alan Rickman, young and boyish, is a delight in this darkly romantic film in which taboos are freely explored. Clive Owen plays a great part as the carefree, handsome younger brother whose emotions are completely screwed up by his beautiful older sister. It has a lovely musical score and delightful British whimsy. I loved it from beginning to end.
