The most original part of this movie is that the villain is a woman. But mainly, it's a very VIOLENT movie. There's either an explosion or a gun fight with futuristic weapons about every 3 minutes. Very much in the tradition of Star Wars, except they've added numerous fist fights. Also some graphic scenes of child bullying. I'm amazed this is considered to be family- friendly fare.
Ryan Reynolds has made a smooth transition from comedic sex symbol to comedic action hero.
