If you are a diehard fan of the franchise, and under the age of 12, you just might enjoy this game enough to not feel ripped off. I beat the game in about 3 hours, which is far too short of a game, although I am grateful because the gameplay and combat is atrocious and simple. There are 17 different aliens in ben10's watch, which not only contradicts the tv series, but is far too many. A few have useful attacks, like wildmutt's ferocious attacks or four-arms overwhelming strength which stagger enemies, but I only found myself using 3 or 4 for the entire game. Most aliens abilities are not different or useful enough to make it worth using them. There are maybe 9-10 different enemies, with probably 10-15 reskins of those basic enemies with a very simple addition to their attack. Like the ninja, the basic ninja leaps from wall to wall. Soon, you start fighting ninjas that leave bombs in their paths, and then ones that disappear in smoke and throw shurikens. Three reskins with minor changes, one enemy. I didn't even go for all the collectibles, after wasting 3 heatblast supers on a crate that would not open. The boss fight in the middle of the game, known as a "waybad" was easy and tedious, but infinitely more satisfying than the final boss fight. The story is non-existent, besides slogging away for 3 hours in this tedious game, you end up right back where the game began. The game ends quickly, obviously setting up for the next game in the franchise, which is likely another poorly-made cash grab. I spent 10 dollars on this game, which too me, is about 8 more than I should have spent. Save that money and purchase a few games on sale in the nintendo eshop.
