Feels like they had a pilot for an original series, and the executives just layered "Scooby-Doo" on top of it to make money. It's not a bad show, if it were it's own thing. However, everything is so disconnected from the characters and comedy style of the Scooby-Doo, this simply feels like an insult. The series has been getting review bombed by right wingers and outrage fanatics because that DARED to change Velma's and Shaggy's race. But don't be fooled. This is not one of those cases where the content is good and bigots are just crying. The series is simply not good. This is more an example of someone trying to make content for a beloved IP without even seeing it or so much as showing their love it.
