Spoiler Alert !!!! The ending is not what I wanted, but I had to write a review to counter all the people saying Nicholas' performance was terrible bc it was anything but, perfection, spot on. I was disappointed in the parents but that was more of the writing and how the the story was told. I guess if they had stepped up at any point, this would have had a different outcome. I saw the ending as soon as the parents just accepted his happy mood and let him walk off and started talking about their own lives again. My heart sank... willing one of them to get up and follow their son to the bathroom, to recognize his cries for help, to give him 24/7 monitoring... unfortunately this movie did nothing to teach parents how to help their child in this situation, but it did shed light on how pervasive this problem is in our young generation!
