This movie is not for the small-minded. You need to play the "game" at least twice to truly unveil the true lore. At first I found the movie trying to cram to much in to fast, but this is not it's mission it is meant to bend reality, break the fourth wall and really get you thinking. It also should not be compared to other interactive games as they have a completely different motive I found Bandersnatch an amazing movie with a unique idea of telling its one of many stories.
Edit: Other reviews have inspired me to make another reply.
Some people have complained about how it forces you to replay the movie if making the wrong choice. If you've watched till the end you'll see how our character Stefan says how he had to give the illusion of freewill but in reality he was the one who really chose the ending so that he could truly finish his game and I think the same logic took place while we the audience watched the movie.
