It's hard to beat the original Dune. Actors were superior to this one. It also explains more of the story. If I hadn't watched the original, I would be guessing what's going on. Between the language changes CC, and whispering you either had to read the book or see the original. There were some good effects and spacecraft. I wanted to see more of the guild but they had a small role. Another major difference from the original. I'm giving it a 3 star just because I like the Dune world and enjoy SyFy. Want to see a better movie, watch the original.
