Disappointed, after such anticipation. An amazing cast, however, much of my attention was spent trying to determine Pierce Brosnans accent....still not sure now. I didn't find it engaging, therefore univested. I think it would have been better as a series, to allow a better portrayal of the book.

A good dramatisation of an awful time, that I remember well despite being a child. It showed only too well the appalling attitudes of male police officers towards women sex workers, who quite frankly should have be respected and held in the highest regard.
