New GLP-3 drug significantly slashes both weight and blood sugar levels in Phase III trial Over 40 weeks, participants lost 11.5% to 15.3% of body weight on average. Placebo led to far smaller changes. Many also brought HbA1c below a key threshold, though the trial focused on adults managing diabetes with diet and exercise alone. Overlaying a robot’s planned route, goal, and safety zone onto a smartphone view made people better at anticipating its movements. In AR navigation tasks, participants averaged 86.5% on situational-awareness measures and were especially strong at spotting obstacles and safe areas.

A home-cleaning robot is now working inside some Beijing apartments, picking up rubbish and folding clothes beside human cleaners. But even its more impressive tasks remain slow, and the service is also being used to gather real-world household data.
