I first met Ryan my freshman year in 2007 at the now-defunct Becker College. Ryan is someone who has always shown up for the people around him, especially his fiancée Morgan and their kids. Recently, his family received news no parent ever wants to hear. Their children tested positive for lead poisoning caused by lead hazards in their previous home. Now they’re facing the difficult and expensive process of gathering past medical records and covering the costs of legal experts as they try to hold their former landlord accountable. They’ve started a GoFundMe to help cover these expenses and continue protecting their children’s health. I’ve already contributed myself.
