Mickey just pulled off some real sorcery. ✨🐭 Say hello to Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey, the newest character balloon joining the 100th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this November. Straight out of Fantasia, wizard hat and all, and he is BIG: 30.6 feet wide, 62.2 feet long, 41.6 feet tall. The design just made its first appearance today at Downtown Disney District for D23 Day, and Macy's dropped a whole collection to go with it. A Citizen watch, matching family pajamas, a Loungefly mini backpack, a 175-trick magic show set, even a velvet keepsake journal for the parade's 100th year. Tokyo Disneyland just confirmed a full rebuild of Tomorrowland, and the headline news is two brand new rides. Oriental Land Co. announced on August 13, 2026 that a roughly 100 billion yen investment will bring Space Mountain Earthrise and a Wreck-It Ralph attraction called Sugar Rush: Sweet Rescue to the park in spring 2027, along with new shops and dining built around a redesigned central hub called Tomorrowland Plaza. The Warrior Games are returning to Walt Disney World Resort in August 2027, and Fantasy Land News was on hand at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex yesterday when Disney made it official. This will mark the third time the adaptive sports competition has been hosted at Walt Disney World, following the 2022 and 2024 Games. Nearly 200 competitors are expected to take part across 12 adaptive sports, and Disney also used the event to introduce Adaptive Pickleball to the lineup, complete with an on-site demonstration.
