😳⚡️ "I had to mark the fastest man in the world." In a charity match, I played as a right midfielder, and suddenly, I looked up to see who I had to mark… it was Usain Bolt. At that moment, I thought, "I'm done for." Because, really, how do you compete with someone like that? When you see those legs coming at you, it feels like a bullet train is catching up to you. But I tried, I followed him as best as I could, and in the end, I have a photo where, from a certain angle, it looks like I'm ahead of Usain Bolt. 😆 I'm definitely framing that one! The best part is that Usain, besides being a sports legend, is a true football fan. For me, as someone who loves running and has always admired him, it was a privilege to play against him. Even though his speed is inhuman and the whole team kept trying to pass him the ball so he could score, I did my best to stay by his side. I didn’t make it easy. I held on, fought, and in the end, I can say that, for a moment, I was Usain Bolt’s shadow on

In the summer of 2000, Ruud van Nistelrooy was all set to join Manchester United for a club record £18.5 million. Fans were excited, and a press conference was scheduled to introduce him. But things took a turn. Concerns about his knee fitness postponed the transfer, and PSV Eindhoven refused further medical tests. The next day, Van Nistelrooy suffered a major knee injury, sidelining him for a year. 😢⚽️ Fast forward a year, and Van Nistelrooy finally signed a five-year contract with Manchester United after passing his medical. He brushed off the £19 million price tag, saying, "The price is not heavy for me – it lifts me up because it means United have big confidence in me." 🌟 The transfer had an interesting twist. Sir Alex Ferguson's son, Darren, who was at try-outs for Heerenveen, told his dad, "You've got to sign Van Nistelrooy right away, he's fantastic." Taking his son's advice, Ferguson sent scouts to PSV's next game and signed Van Nistelrooy the very next day. 📝🔥 Stats at Manc

An incredible story from DIEGO FORLÁN I about ALEX FERGUSON and how he managed his players to get the best out of them: 🗣️"I remember an episode at Manchester United with Alex Ferguson and Paul Scholes that shows why that manager was one of a kind. We had gone to the United States for preseason. Back then, it wasn’t common; we were among the first to do it. But something happened: Paul Scholes would get depressed when he spent a week away from his family. And Ferguson knew this. We were in Portland, doing friendlies, training, meals. A great bonding time with the team. A week goes by, and when I head down for breakfast, I ask: "Where's Scholes?" Gary Neville responds, "He went back to Manchester." We had arrived just 7 days ago in the U.S. So I ask, "And what does Ferguson think about this?" And that’s when it all became clear to me. "He already knows. After a week, Scholes goes back to Manchester to train with the third team." With players like Scholes, who are unique, it’s bett
