After sharing that she was “Geese-curious”, Courtney Love has officially pledged allegiance to the Geese cult with her own cover of their emotional ballad, ‘Au Pays Du Cocaine’.
Previously, the Hole singer has had plenty to say on the rise in popularity of the alt-rock Brooklyn four-piece, who found themselves recently on the bizarre end of an alleged psy-op allegation for using digital marketing.
In a similar vein, Love previously called Geese fans “gatekeeping elder millennial trolls,” before adding, “I feel like it’s 1990 and I’m trying to impress Sonic Youth again, which is great. I don’t know. I’m a cool old lady who likes a band, get off my back.”
Now, a short clip on Instagram shows “cool old lady” Love, cosied up on a couch, offering her vocals to the chorus of the emotional song, while Baby Queen strums along on the acoustic guitar.
