“Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince, and dinner like a pauper.” Someone once said that, and maybe there is some truth in it. Over the past year, I’ve been experimenting with a different way of eating, including a more mindful approach to intermittent fasting. Most days, breakfast has become my mid-morning brunch, something more balanced, more intentional, and more aligned with my lifestyle. But as with everything in life, there should always be room for exceptions. Sometimes, allowing yourself the pleasure of a real breakfast, slowly, by the ocean, is already a beautiful form of wellness. Because nutrition is not only about what we put on the plate. It is also about learning to listen to ourselves, finding balance, and making space for simple pleasures. What about you? Is breakfast really the most important meal of the day?
