Anyone see spikes of newsletter subscriber spams even with double authentication? Saw 100+ subs to the seoforlunch last Thursday, but each and every email looks fishy with number/letter and even dots (2866.0@site), for example.

Google crushed job boards with the release of its job listing widget, right? Here they come again… too early to see if this is good/bad. The good news is these links go directly to job listing pages (off Google)

I guess the newest AI scam per @ArnieK is distress calling grandparents. Scammers use their grandchildren's voice, learned from a single clip or two found online, for training. Disgusting people. This is not an AI issue. This is a people issue.

Does your take on AI change if you were to become 100% legally liable for the outputs you generate with it? I bring the German case ruling stating Google is legally liable for AIO results to the lunch table this week.

We all know Google is selective in what they index. But it's interesting to me when I continue to see sources within AI results that Google doesn't index.

Anyone else finding themselves using Gemini more and more? 👇 Recent data from  @LiveDatos ( @semrush Company) suggests that the trend is growing among AI users in the U.S. For me, Gemini has quietly become my day-to-day tool for questions, research, and general problem-solving. ChatGPT has shifted into a different role. It's now my editor for #SEOForLunch, important emails, and content that benefits from a second set of eyes. Meanwhile, Cursor has become my dedicated building environment, leveraging multiple LLMs, including Claude, depending on the task at hand. A year ago, I never would have predicted this workflow. Curious how others are dividing up their AI stack these days.
