Wall Street wants AI. It just doesn’t necessarily want it connected to the internet.
Perplexity CEO Aravind Srinivas says major banks, including JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley, are looking at air-gapped, on-premises AI systems that can keep sensitive data and intellectual property away from outside networks.
That could be a major opportunity for NVIDIA.
Its DGX Spark hardware is designed to bring powerful AI computing closer to the user, while NVIDIA continues building out cloud data centers, enterprise AI, and edge computing at the same time.
The next phase of the AI boom may not live entirely in giant data centers.
