Beautifully written, fantastic ideas... but just ideas and no book. There was so much round about prose and fluff that there was no tactile storyline or sense to it. It was a 19 hour journey on audio and even by the 18th hour I was certain there would be some sensical explanation to all of it but it never came. The usage of bees and honey and books and paper were extremely redundant... "BEES. We get it!" The metaphors and symbolism made led us nowhere. It felt like reading Murakami excerpts that didn't make publication. I'm sorry I spent so much time lost in the starless sea. Maybe a little bit of stars and light shed would have made this journey worthwhile.
