I've never seen this kind of detective series before. There is crime solving ofcourse. But most importantly there is comedy. The quirky type of comedy. It demands the viewers to pay rapt attention, for otherwise you miss the joke. But if you do pay attention, you are in for a treat. Each episode is 20 minutes, and there is a new scenario in each episode with a continuity of personalistic traits. This means, if you miss an episode, you don't feel like you miss a link. This means you can stop at whatever point and start at whatever point. This is what makes this series perfect for a quick light hearted entertainment. Jake is an adorable character and so are everyone else. Makes me want to belong to a team like that. Hope many more similar series get made.

I just watched this movie through amazon fire stick and I have only one thought in my mind. Why would anyone want to make a movie like this and call it art?! I mean, if the purpose of movies is to provide entertainment, fun, timepass, relaxation, etc then this movie manages to take away whatever little piece of mind that you have. The acting performances are great and natural and all, but this movie is gory! Don't get me wrong, I'm not a weak hearted person. Horror happens to be my favourite genre of movie. But this movie disturbed me like no other horror movie ever did. If that's what the makers of this movie intended to achieve, then they achieved it big time! If you are into violence and disturbing visualisations, then this is a paisa vasool movie. If you do not enjoy it, please stay away and save your time and money. This is my personal opinion and I'm entitled to it. BTW, I saw it only till interval last night and I still am so disturbed that I'll have to do some serious meditation to get better. I write this review to save people some pain.

Kangana slays as Jhansi ki Rani! No doubt about it. Her moves, her expressions and her fierceness are completely convincing. The background music , the sets, the scenery are all very pleasant. However, the story as a whole didn't feel convincing. The first half felt like a patchup work of many fragmented scenes. And none of the character other than Kangana's, really had any value or impact. This was a one man (woman) show and Kangana was THE woman. However, the second half moves faster. The battle scenes are impressive.Especially the firing of the canons. Kangana moves like a ninja and manages to convince the audience of her patriotism. Reason why when she finally gets killed, the audience actually feels sad. To an extent that there was audible gasp among the audiences. That is a commendable feet! For her directorial debut, this is a pretty decent job, although far from a perfect job. Hope to see her master her skill and give us many more worthy and interesting entertainment.

If Vidya is there, then it's a movie worth watching. That's my take. But I was pleasantly surprised to see how well Neha Dhupia performed. Very convincing as a Radio station head. The movie had a lot of scenes which were totally relatable, like during the time when Vidya hurries her son to go to school and as he is going out the door, tells him to fix his hair. That is an everyday scenario in my home. Made me wonder if we have been watched by secret cam! Sapecial mention to Manav Kaul (Ashok) . Fits like a glove as a goofy but good hearted loving middle class husband. Overall it's a pleasant movie. Love the fact how everyone comes together as one unit and rises above challenge. Would love to see many more such movies. Definitely one more jewel in Vidya's crown.
