Very slow paced, outlandish sets and costumes and stereotypical (ie the “bad” witch is black and poor while the good Glinda is a blonde self centered white girl. Saw the musical on Broadway 20 years ago which had acts 1 and 2 in the same amount of time as this part one movie. Very disappointing. Sometimes the dubbed in words didn’t even go with the characters’ mouths. And Jeff Goldblum cannot sing. I could go on and on. I wanted to leave after ten minutes but kept hoping it would get better. It didn’t. The musical was fabulous.
