A favorite as it correctly portrays lif in rural Texas in the 30โs , a time my parents witnessed first hand , poor cotton farmers that worked hard to try to make a living, they told about putting cardboard in shoes to cover holes, cutting fingers out of gloves to pick cotton and dragging those long heavy sacks on their backs and the house dances , moving the furniture outside all very true, a great movie!
