I love the ever evolving sound throughout Steven Wilson's musical journey. From albums past to this present one. The harmony codex takes a little deeper dive into more electronic sound whether it's through keys, all the ambient background sounds or different effects on the instruments itself. Although there is more hormonic tones throughout the album we still hear that distinct drive on the second half that were used to on prior projects. Always meticously produced, engineered and mixed. This album is best listened to with no distractions to really embody the life of the harmony codex itself.
