The good... Halle's voice, Ursula, Eric's backstory, and I thought the og little mermaid Easter egg was a nice touch. The bad... CGI, the animals, the length (my daughter was squirming), the acting was almost b rated at times, and a lot of boring filler. If I had to do it all over again I'd wait for a Disney+ release. I honestly can't understand how anyone can give this a 5, but I also don't think it deserves a 1. I'm being more critical because I just spent a small fortune to see it, but I could see how others, especially little mermaid lovers would give it a slightly higher score.
