Matt Horstmann

As a long time fan, this is quickly becoming one of my most favorite DM albums. Dave’s voice is smooth. More than ever, he is totally believable in his delivery. Martin’s lyrics bring a dark element of foreseeable death or tradegy. There is a sense of reckoning in the songs. The lyrics maintain the genius of ambiguity that allows the listener to interpret relative to his/her experiences, making each song its own private therapy session. It’s an all around fantastic album.
