I have never reviewed a movie in my life - but this movie brought me here. I was suggested this movie because it was supposedly one of the top 25 most twisted movies. Matt Dillon performed phenomenally - however - so what? Not only was there no importance to this film at all, lacking the depth it tried so hard to emulate, it couldn’t even display “horror” or “crime” properly. There is, two hours into the flop of a movie, a moment where one might think it has redeemed itself - only for it to get cringingly worse. Anyone who rates this movie highly, and especially those who discuss its’ “serial killer” accuracy, are simply armchair crime enthusiasts, or else, entirely ignorant. The worst part about this movie, and trust me, there is a lot, is that it is 2+ hours long. Considering this, you will undeniably waste at least two hours of your life. And yes, I’m an avid horror/ true crime enthusiast, as well as I work in crime and law.
