Aleximus Prime

While not the best Metroid game, Dread definitely lives up to the hype! For the most part the gameplay is what you would expect from a Metroid game, but has plenty of new elements added that keeps it fresh and new enough. The story went in a direction I did not expect and revealed tons of new lore. Fusion seemed to end with good closure and felt like it didn't need a sequel, but I had no idea they could continue the story with the incredible twists that this game gave us. I don't know what is in store for the rest of the Metroid story, but this game certainly continued it rather well!
