This movie depicts real life real relatability for anyone who walks through what JD's family walked through. Pretty gripping story for so many reasons. Attention: People born to privilege wont be able to fully relate to this story and will poke holes in whatever they decide is "unrealistic" in the story line. People who rate movies for a living often become desensitized to reality and will rate it poorly as expected bc they need a hi buzz away from reality to even be "moved" in any way. Self centered people can never relate to anyone who doesnt live in their world so they will miss this story also. That's okay. For the majority of us who genuinely care for others and who will relate to this story's reality check, the respect level is very high. And for all the grandmas and family members who fight for their generations coming next, you are the reason they will make it. Thank you to JD Vance and Ron Howard for giving many Americans a dose of reality for all the right reasons. Give us a reason to have Hope and to fight for better days when we werent born into them by default.

Everything the 5 star reviewers have said is accurate. No virtue signaling or stereotypes, or vulgar and unnecessary sexual references, etc. Real character evolution and realistic life moments are all you will see. Refreshing. For once. And once again film critics must be on the take with Hollywood because their low critiques as expected are so far away from actual viewership reviews which are so high. Shocking! Right... Q: When have most of us ever watched a film because the film critics gave it high marks? Me: Never. I watch it because I decide the content is something I want to watch. And then I'm the judge. Hollywood has gotten so faw away from reality with any real world films. "Real" people make the best films and not narsassistic woke agenda folks. Yes. Role your eyes if you are a narssasistic woke person who believes the world revolves around you. "Real" people dont really care. ("Real" means genuine and reliably accurate, btw. Go look it up.)
