Acting, singing, dancing beautifully done. Poetry very easy to follow, more so than the stage classic. If you are expecting a plot, there never was one intended in the stage version. The basic idea of plot works well in the film. The lighting snd stage design remains gloomy all the time. Some more color and sparkle was needed. Feline animation clothing the characters is delightful. Give it a try.
