I was so excited for this game. The writers wrecked the story, changed the characters, and developed a game with more glitches than Cyberpunk 2077. Giving Wulfgar a peg leg, Drizzt some “Batman” style head armor, and Cattie Brie the worst look, Bruenor was the only character that played and looked closest to true form. I’m sure if Salvatore played this game, even he would be upset with the garbage representation of his beloved characters. When watching the “making of” videos, the creators stated they were fans of the books. By playing this game, I don’t think any of them even read the books. They most likely googled the characters and did what they wanted from there. This game is absolute garbage. And that is coming from a longtime fan of the series. If you find this game for $20.00 it would be worth it to play with friends. Other than that, don’t expect much.
