An incredible facinating film that had me invested every minute.
Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt provide well-done acting that brought this film to life.
The story follows a girl named Michelle who is on a journey to save her brother. Its the 1990's after a massive war againist robots who formally served human but demanded freedom. The war was won because of these devices that connect a human mind to a robot drone. The war was won by the humans and all robots were confined in a 100,000 square mile space called the electric state. The devices soon become the norm for humans to escape reality. Now back to Michelle. Michelle's family was declared dead and lives with a mean foster parent but one day a little robot comes by her door. She discovers its being controled by her brother who she loved so dearly. Her brother was very intelligent but was declared dead. She sets out to find her brother with the little robot. Finding a way into the eletric state to find the doctor who knows where her brother is isnt easy but with the help of a low rate smuggler (played by Chris Pratt) they survive in the horrifying electric state full of run down robots.
Full of action, plot twists, and in the end, a great moral of the story, its easily one of the best films I've seen all year.
Set in the 1990's, it had a unique mix of sci-fi but sci-fi set in the past, which is something I've never seen before.
I fully recomend this film for anyone who wants an exciting adventure.
