I honestly don't know why the rating's are so low, I mean it was a tad confusing but I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It really sucks that there probably won't be a sequel. The actors were great and I think it was all planned out very well, although it never got my adrenaline pumping I was very sad to see his dog die :( besides that though the plot was great and it really showed a lot about how life was for the settlers, I kind of liked that it didn't explain ever detail, it was like you had to plug everything in yourself and perceive it the way to could/want.
