When The Crown first started I loved it. I needed no one to tell me it wasn’t factually accurate, but I really enjoyed it just as a drama littered with some factual information - I think more facts in the first few series - I have been awaiting eagerly for series 5. Oh my word, what a let down, what utter drivel! None of the characters - with exception of Imelda Staunton & Elizabeth Debicki - were remotely believable. I think the time has come for The Crown to hang up it’s own crown!
