The wit, self-reflection, and deeply human nature of this book made it an exceptionally wonderful read! Somehow, I left the story with a great compassion for my shortcomings and a deep appreciation for the work that therapists do to sit with people in the midst of the peaks and valleys of life.

One of the most enjoyable reads I have had in a long time. Carol Burnett is not only an icon, but her joy, humility, and sense of humor leap off the pages. Listening to her reminisce about her life makes your heart feel a bit lighter and hopeful. Exceptionally well done!

Such an amazing read! Trevor Noah is a masterful storyteller. One of the best books I have read in years.
