As someone who has been playing since the game first came out, I could not have been more disappointed. The animation quality looks like it was generated by cheap AI. The colors were inconsistent, parts of scenes and character were not fully generated, character's mouths only moving half of the time when they speak, and actors very clearly photo shopped into the film. This looks like it was made in less than a few months by high-school students. I could not in good faith recommend this movie to anyone, Minecraft lover or not. I know so many genuine Minecraft fans that couldn't even watch past the first 30 minutes of the movie. But the real kicker is the fact that more that just the majority of the 5 star reviews are from a bot. You can see this yourself if you scroll to see that every review says the exact same thing "Absolutely life changing. From the moment the opening screen lit up..." word for word non stop. I ask that you can mark as many as you can as unhelpful so more people do not waste their money or time on this movie.
