I realize a review 14 years after the movie will not change anything. However, I have never been so unbelievably disappointed to write a review till now. For a movie called transformers, it lacked transformers. Me and my friend would beg for even one transformer to be shown on screen after scenes of monotonous human bs. If you like watching a movie about the military messing around, a barely interesting romance plot, and scenes that contribute absolutely nothing to the plot- this is the movie for you! On the other hand, if you're watching it for what its named after, I apologize for the atrocity you had to sit through. As a cherry ontop, the dialogue and line delivery were odd and out of touch. They barely conveyed the characters, turning them more robotic than cybertron. For the visuals it was a masterpiece, the CGI is astounding and is truly a work of art. A shame that its wasted on this mediocrity. In case the movie left you barren of any interest- I recommend the BumbleBee movie. That is a real transformers movie.
