I gave this three stars because I did watch it till the end. It is done like a long drawn out Jerry Springer show. I feel like things were dramatized for effect and the sale of the book. I found Michael to be a very unreliable person. I did not believe half of what he said since his story always changed to suit his needs. And what a drama queen. Christine is made up to be a true monster but we never get to hear from her. There was something about Natalia that I just couldn't put my finger on. I felt for the life she had but felt her hate for the Barnets was a little extreme. She was let down more than once and I saw her real mother mostly to blame since she gave her up for adoption when she was a disabled baby. That is to sad. Then the series throws a blow at the end when her new adoptive family gives up on her. At this point, I feel like half of the story was made up.
