The coming of age movie for me. I did get to study the same as part of curriculum for my masters program. Dev Anand has been one of my most favorite actors all along: I believe that period to have been the Golden Age of Indian cinema. Over the years, I did get to watch most of his other movies; but, nothing else touched me, or impressed me like the Guide did.
