I read this book many years ago. A very factual testament of the WW! A romance amongst the tragedy of war at the turn of the 20th century. And the terrible suffering of those left at home. This book will keep you reading intensely. I am going to read the book as soon as I find my copy, or buy another one!

I am absolutely addicted to Repair Show , I am originally from Manchester UK. Many of the items repaired, brings back many memories. My father, was a Gold blocker and Book finisher. So far, this craft has not been featured in the program, though here's hoping I will see a book rebound and gold work lettering shown. The skills of all the trades and craftsmen are a tribute to our past.
