I was knocked out and gutted equally by this most compelling mini series about an adolescent murder tragedy and its impact on the perpetrators family, his own young and tender life, his school mates and the impact on the investigating police team. I am reeling afterwards ! As a restorative practitioner the uninterrupted filming just felt like I was a part of it. I realise this story is primarily about the boy who is accused of the murder and is a snapshot story, still, there’s always the concern about the massive effects on the victim’s family. This might have been dealt with in a bit more detail ; maybe a 5th episode to address the balance ? Nevertheless from a particular perspective this is a superb story of a heinous crime committed and the echoes thereafter.
