Okay the only reason I don't give it 1 star, is because of 'Aloha Oe' that actually made me tear up a bit. This movie is genuinely another cash grab from Disney towards sentimental parents and their kids. What's sadder is that the director wanted to be more loyal to the original, but Disney said no. It's like Disney WANTS its movies to fail. Jumba is no longer a fun uncle, no drag Pleakly (R.I.P. to that diva) Cobra Bubbles is basically useless now, Lilo is not weird which is what made people sympathetic towards her because she's still affected by her parents death, Stitch was watered down and barely shows him wanting a family, David is basically just-- a statue and most importantly...NO GANTU. The literal villain of the original film is not even in the damn movie. I don't blame the actors nor the directors. The only one to blame is DISNEY for being such money hungry.
