I used "The Leviathan crisis" and "The creature from Jekyll island" as a basis for a DnD campaign. In the storm empire, only copper pieces can be used for currency, and the dwarves are forced to mine gold and turn it over to the imperial bards, who sing songs of praise to the redistributionist empire. All imperial citizens are given a set amount of copper to survive on. There's a giant beehive to the south, headquarters for a giant information-gathering BEE, guess what it's name is.
My son refused to even carry the Statue of Leviathan. He really wants to level up! Who will be the BBEG? Not Leviathan for this group. I really want to run it with a slightly older group.
Thanks for the awesome idea! Great books, too!
