This movie is a must see, It moved me to tears. It's 2020 folks not the 60's, however, social injustice still exists today! I live in the deep South of Florida and was raised in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. I never experienced racism growing up nor did I think I was better than others because of the color of my skin.
My Husband is a college educated Hispanic gentleman and two of my Grandchildren are Bi-Racial and one is half Hispanic. It broke my heart when my Grandson asked me, "What's wrong with me, Nanny? Why do people hate me so? What did I do wrong?" I remember when he was three years old and he looked innocently at me holding his arm next to mine and said,
" How come you're pink and I'm brown?"
It's time for CHANGE, it's time to wake up and take a stand for equality for all.
