Loved it! An emotional story filled with both tragedy and inspiration. This show not only had a great story, but breaks long standing practices of excluding actual disabled bodies - excluding disabled bodies even when the characters is written as disabled. In the disabled community there’s a saying, “nothing about us without us”. This was with us by authentically casting disabled actors for the role and doing a fantastic job at representation. Maria was a brilliant, strong character who could be independent and save her self & be a loving, social, and loyal treasure blessing all whom she meets.
