3 is the maximum rating from me! A novel like “Animal Farms”, or “1984” deserve a Nobel prize and a 5 star. The ending could’ve been better. Why? I’ve got my reasons; firstly, I’m not a person to go around and complement sth cause it already received a brilliant prize.! I’ve got my own critical view.! You can relate the blindness to the ignorance of the modern people, and apparently doctor’s wife was safe from blindness. However, as a reader I would’ve loved to see some hints from the author about the reasons.! Some person crucified at the church and he was blind.! I would’ve preferred to not draw this amount of darkness on church to showcase the church and Christ as the ultimate savior from people blindness. The story started with psychological blindness or better to say, “the death of their subconscious”, and ended openly without addressing any of humanity’s concerns.
