Setting aside all the pointless character changes, Caped Crusader is still very poorly written, with a plodding pace and little or no tension or intrigue. The action sequences are clumsy and fail to establish anything special about Batman. Ultimately, I was bored of the story by minute 5 and had turned it off by minute 15. In terms of the animation, it's generic at best and the overall style really doesn't add much, especially considering how much it was hyped for being 1940's-esque. In short, go rewatch Batman the Animated Series, Justice League or Batman Beyond. It will a much more enjoyable use of your time.
