The only reason I watch kids movies nowadays is for my family, so I rarely expect to be blown away whenever I go to the theater. This might just be my new favorite movie. I was not expecting to leave the theater being a crying mess. This was genuinely such an artistically and emotionally beautiful movie! This was a breath of fresh air after seeing so many mediocre family movies nowadays. This was proof that we can still have fun movies that kids can enjoy while still having substance and beautiful craftsmanship.
