I watched the whole series and I thought the first episode was funny and showed promise but each episode after was a disappointment. There's just not a lot of substance to the story line, and I was constantly confused about whether or not something was supposed to be funny vs serious and found myself at times trying to will myself to a laugh by cracking a smile at what appeared to be a dramatic scene, and I shouldn't have to work that hard to be entertained. The acting was fine, and this was my first time watching Nathan Felder in anything and he did make me "laugh out loud" a handful of times, but this project ain't it for me.

We are lucky to have Scorsese still cranking out epic stories after an all time great career spanning 6 decades. Rarely does cinema carry the same spectacle and wonderment that it was in past decades, but Scorsese is one of the few directors that can still create a true buzz and deliver an incredible film that is worthy of the praise. I can't wait to rewatch it again as I have no doubt I missed many hidden gems throughout the film. The only tiny criticism I had was the performances from Brendan Fraser and John Lithgow. They seemed to be dialing it up way more than everyone else and it felt to me like they were playing characters in a completely different film. Go see it in the theatre if you can so that you can devote the time to it that it deserves.
