Now THIS is a funny movie. I'll be honest, this was probably just not for me and I don't get the hype, but this movie kinda sucks. Like, really sucks. It is very long and very boring, and I think I fell asleep for part of it. When Gandalf and Saruman fight, nothing cool happens, they just slide around on a wet floor. Honestly, if you're like me, as in you haven't read the books outside of a few chapters of the first and just want a good laugh, this movie is completely hysterical. Although, I was sad to not see Tom Bombadil. In short, if you don't read the books and think it is a comedy or a very serious parody, great film. If you want it for the books, it skips over a lot of details that were actually interesting and the movie is terrible.
