I learnt. I laughed. I bawled my eyes out (from ‘It’s Quiet up Town’ to the end...yes I’m soft that way); it’s a history lesson and a love story. The film version of ‘Hamilton’ on Disney+ loses almost nothing in translation from the Broadway stage production I was lucky to see almost 5 years ago. Brilliantly staged, incredible choreography, passionate performances and soaring vocals. Master class in ensemble acting and company integration. A must see! (And see again and again!).
